KINGSTON, Ont. -- A 36-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly grabbing a dog's genitals and a woman's buttocks.

Police say the woman was walking her dog in a Kingston, Ont., park early Tuesday afternoon when a man approached.

It's alleged the man bent down to pet the dog, then grabbed the animal's genitals and squeezed until it yelped in pain.

He allegedly then made inappropriate sexual comments to the woman and grabbed her buttocks.

The woman was able to get away and called police, who arrested a suspect in the park.

A Kingston man is charged with sexual assault, and wilfully causing unnecessary pain to an animal.
