RENFREW, Ont. -- Provincial police are seeking witnesses to a road rage incident in which one driver allegedly threatened another with a knife.

They say the incident occurred late on April 8 in Renfrew, Ont., and the alleged victim called police.

OPP say both cars stopped in a Canadian Tire parking lot and when officers arrived at the scene they arrested a 32-year-old Renfrew man.

He is charged with dangerous driving, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats, possession of cocaine, amphetamine, marijuana, and OxyContin, as well as possession of amphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Police say he's also charged with possession of unmarked cigarettes under the Tobacco Tax Act and is to appear in court in Renfrew on May 2.
