A 21-year-old man is facing charges after he was found trespassing at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre with a loaded handgun.
Security guards apparently found a handgun in a plastic bag when they apprehended a male suspect at about 6:20 p.m. Monday.
The guards took control of the gun and the man, before calling police.
Investigators say the man is known to police and is facing various charges, including weapons offences and breaching conditions.
