A 57-year-old man was hospitalized after he was followed off an OC Transpo bus at the St. Laurent OC Transpo transitway station by two young males and then beaten and robbed Thursday night.

Police say at about 10:50 p.m. the man exited a bus at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre. Two young males followed him into the lower level of the terminal, where he was robbed and assaulted. His injuries required hospitalization.

Both suspects are described as white, between 16 and 17 years old. One was five feet 10 inches tall, wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap and a black zip-up sweater with gold dollar signs throughout, baggy pants and black Timberland boots. The second male was five feet eight inches tall, wearing a red baseball cap, a beige jacket and blue jeans.
