Man attempts child luring with school bus: police

Ottawa police are investigating after a man tried to lure two young girls onto a school bus in Orl�ans Friday morning.

The girls, aged nine and 14, were waiting for their bus at the corner of Charlemagne Boulevard and Martinoff Way at 7:25 a.m. when the unmarked bus pulled up.

The driver told them that he was driving for three different schools that day, and told them to get on.

They refused, and the man left the area.

The driver was about 60 years old, French-speaking, with grey hair and a thin build. One of his hands may have been deformed.

The yellow school bus was described as an older model, possibly in the cab-over style, very dirty, and with no name or markings.
