A male roofer in his 60s is dead after falling from the roof of a two-storey townhouse in Kanata.
Ottawa paramedics say the man was replacing shingles at a home on Pickford Drive, when he lost his footing and fell to the ground at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
Although paramedics tried to resuscitate the man, he was declared dead at the scene.
Ottawa police and Ontario's Ministry of Labour are investigating the incident.
