Ottawa police are on a hunt for two men accused of robbing a Pioneer gas station, in Ottawa's east end, on Sunday morning. They were described as armed with a machete and wearing smiley-face masks.

Two men entered the station at 1134 Ogilvie Rd. around 3 a.m. and demanded cash. They got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

No one was injured.

Descriptions of the suspects are:

  • White man, five feet six inches. Wearing jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt and a white glove. He was holding a machete.
  • Black male, slim build. Wearing a red T-shirt, jeans, and white running shoes.
