A light rail worker received an electric shock this morning while working in the LRT tunnel.
The 34-year-old man's leg came into contact with a wire in the tunnel near the Albert Street and Scott Street area.
Emergency crews on site transported him 500 metres to the tunnel entrance, where paramedics treated him. He was then transported to hospital and is currently in stable condition.
