Loved ones say goodbye to Ottawa man killed in crash
Friends and family of 47-year-old Daniel Larocque are saying farewell to their loved one Friday.
Laroque was killed in horrific single-vehicle crash last weekend. His girlfriend, 25-year-old Angela Williams, was also killed.
A funeral service is being held Friday afternoon at Kelly Funeral Home in Orleans. In lieu of flowers, Larocque's family asked for donations to be made to Habitat for Humanity.
Larocque was the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Ottawa's Colonel By Drive on Saturday. Relatives say Laroque was a loyal family man and friend.
Larocque and Williams dated for more than two years. They both worked at Ottawa software firm Open Text. Larocque was a vice-president at the company. Williams worked as an analyst.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. for Angela Williams at The Whelan Funeral Home in Ottawa.
