Lone Star plans to open new Hunt Club location
The Lone Star Texas Grill plans to open its fifth restaurant in Ottawa on Hunt Club Road.
The restaurant will be part of a development project at 700 Hunt Club Road.
A public meeting to discuss the site plan will be held tomorrow night with the local community association.
The popular tex mex eatery opened its first location on Baseline Road in 1986.
It was started by two former Ottawa Rough Riders, Val Belcher and Larry Brune.
It's now operated under the Lone Star Group of Companies.
There are now 18 Lone Star restaurants throughout eastern and southern Ontario.
Lone Star opened its newest location in London, Ontario two weeks ago.
