OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service East District Investigators have charged Manuel CLAVETTE, 28 years old, of Gatineau with Fraud for unfinished construction contracts.
Clavette has fraudulently taken money from four clients, in Ottawa, where the work was started but never completed. Some victims were sub-contractors that Clavette hired to complete his own contracts but never paid them when they finished the work. Some contracts started in 2010. The total amount of money that has been defrauded is 44 330.46$
He will be facing three counts of Fraud Under and two counts of Fraud Over.
The Ottawa Police Service East District Investigator feels that there might be other victims of Fraud in Ottawa, from Manuel Clavette.
