Library reviews security after sexual assault
Staffing and security measures at rural branches of the Ottawa Public Library are under review after a female employee was attacked at the library's Metcalfe branch in Osgoode Township.
Ottawa police say the female staffer was sexually assaulted and the library was robbed.
A young offender is currently in custody, charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and robbery.
The library will remain closed until Jan. 4.
