The OPP spent several hours on scene Saturday night in Lanark, investigating and rerouting traffic where a fatal motor vehicle collision happened.
A westbound pickup truck hit an eastbound car around 3:05 p.m. on South Lavant Road, police say.
19-year-old Ashton, Ont. resident Kyle Simpson, a passenger in the car, died at the scene. The driver of his car and the driver of a pickup truck were both brought to Perth Hospital. Their names are not released yet.
The road was closed and traffic rerouted while police continued to look into the cause.
