A 33-year-old cyclist from Kingston remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a pick-up truck at a highway intersection.

The male cyclist was struck by a truck hauling wood at the intersection of Highway 15 and Joyceville Road on Thursday.

The cyclist, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was transported to Kingston General Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Charges are currently pending against the 46-year-old driver of the truck.
