Two big-name concerts will hit the capital this summer.

The Jonas Brothers have announced they plan to wrap up their world tour at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa on Aug. 31.

The band will perform on a massive 140-foot stage in the centre of the arena, with lasers, video screens, and a giant crane levitating over the audience.

Tickets for the concert go on sale March 20. However, fan club members can get an early start on purchasing tickets March 16.

Meanwhile, Bryan Adams has also announced a stop in Ottawa.

The Canadian singer will play at the National Arts Centre Aug. 12. Tickets for the show go on sale Monday through Ticketmaster and LiveNation.

It won't be the first show Adams plays in eastern Ontario this year. He's set to pay at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston Thursday night.
