John Grace, former privacy commissioner, dies at 82

John Grace, a former Ottawa journalist and Canada's first privacy commissioner, died this week in Ottawa from a heart attack.
Grace, 82, was born in Sandy Hill and educated at St. Patrick's College. He was editor of the Ottawa Journal until the newspaper folded in 1980.
Grace also lectured at the University of Ottawa and served on the board of governors.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been released.
