TREND: BLUE EYESHADOW

The trick to pulling off blues on the eyes in the day-time is to balance the intensity of pigments with neutral lips and bronze cheeks. For these clips I used a shimmery sand color all over the eye area and blended a neutral color in the crease. A brown eyeliner rimmed the upper lid and I wet a brush and drew a blue line above that. Also I placed a small amount of a softer teal blue directly above the iris and used the same color to line the lower lids. The effect is just a pop of color that does not compete with any eye color but is right on trend! Most will want to add some mascara but easy does it for this breezy blue look:} I added mint for the nails.

TREND: BRIGHT ORANGE LIPS

Everyone can wear this statement look as long as you choose a lip shade that complements your complexion and you balance the eyes with a soft metallic. The effect is modern and not retro by dabbing a gold hued metallic cream shadow on your lower lid, follow with a smudged black or charcoal liner carefully applied all around the eye line. Use a Q-Tip and my Mint Spritzer Cleanser to clean up any excess. Add a layer of black mascara and brush brows up for a natural look. For the cheeks don’t be afraid of color! A bright coral to orange hue that sculpts the cheeks is a must for this cool jet-set look! Try marine blue nails and a crisp white for your toes to make this a nautical standout.
