Gatineau's main arena will remain closed until at least September because of a problem with the arena's ice-making machine.
The delay at the Robert Guertin Arena will force the Gatineau Olympiques to play two pre-season hockey games at a smaller arena in Gatineau.
The arena, which was built in the 1950s, is home to the Quebec junior hockey team. The team is now practicing in Aylmer.
