A fiery crash on Highway 401 shutdown lanes in both directions between Joyceville Rd. and Highway 15 Thursday morning. Eastbound lanes have since re-opened.
Ontario Provincial Police say it happened at about 3:00 a.m. An eyewitness told reporters balls of flames could be seen above a nearby overpass.
So far, there are no reports of any injuries.
CTV Ottawa's John Hua is at the scene and has spoken to drivers who are trapped behind the collision scene. One tour bus has been trapped for eight hours.
Passenger Arman Noory says the bus was coming from Montreal and headed to Toronto. He says he -- like many others on the bus -- are tired, cramped, thirsty and unhappy.
Police say the highway is closed until further notice.
