Highway 417 eastbound reopens after tractor trailer collision

Traffic is back to normal on the highway 417 eastbound after a crash between a car and tractor trailor shut down the roadway for several hours Monday night.
At around 6:45pm a collision between a car and a tractor trailer knocked down an overhead sign just before the Pinecrest Ave exit.
The sign collapsed onto the tractor trailer and several lanes of the highway.
A portion of the highway was closed for several hours with traffic being re-directed at the Acres Road exit. There was no access to the 417 eastbound from Richmond Road.
No one was injured.
The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the collision.
