Highway 105 has re-opened after a pick-up truck rolled into a ditch Saturday night on the border between Chelsea and La Pêche.

MRC des Collines said the 45-year-old driver of the pickup truck heading toward Gatineau lost control around 9 p.m. while passing and hit a guardrail that had been covered with snow. His vehicle then flipped and rolled into a ditch several metres from the road.

MRC des Collines said alcohol and driver recklessness were factors in the crash. They said road conditions were “difficult” at the time.

MRC des Collines said the man was arrested for driving while impaired.

The driver was treated in hospital for serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
