Thousands of Ottawa high school students could be waiting weeks for their report cards.

Job action by teachers protesting their treatment by the government is causing report cards for students in Grades 9 to 11 to be delayed.

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board says its first priority is to get marks released for Grade 12 students, some of which are applying to post-secondary schools.

Other job actions being taken include not meeting with parents outside of school hours and not supervising students outside of the classroom.
