In what media reports described as a 'high-risk' takedown, police arrested a man in Ottawa Friday who is accused of violating parole conditions.
Ontario's Repeat Offenders Parole Enforcement (ROPE) unit, in partnership with Hamilton police, arrested Leon Robert Blais, 29.
A nationwide warrent had been issued for the Hamilton man, who is accused of drug smuggling, gun crimes and other federal offences.
