A group trying to stop city council from proceeding with the current redevelopment plan held a meeting to inform residents on its legal action against the city Sunday afternoon at the Mayfair Theatre.
Friends of Lansdowne filed an application to the Ontario Superior Court in September. It aims to raise 100 thousand dollars to support its lawsuit.
The group is made up of a citywide coalition of volunteers who are against the current plan to redevelop Lansdowne.
