Police are trying to figure out how a 57-year-old man fell to his death down a steep area near the Champlain lookout in Gatineau Park on Monday.
MRC des Collines said a dead body was found around 10:00 a.m. in a wooded area near the Champlain Lookout, but the cause of death isn't considered suspicious.
They said an investigation is underway but all lookouts have been re-opened.
The area around the Champlain, étienne-Brûlé and Huron lookoffs was closed off, along with the intersection of Promenade du Lac-Fortune and Promenade Champlain.
Police said the identity of the body isn't known.
