A 23-year-old Gatineau man who frequently worked as a volunteer with children is behind bars charged in a sexual exploitation case involving images of child abuse.
Steve Beaudoin is charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.
Investigators allege the children in the images are infants, and they think there could be more victims in both Gatineau and Montreal.
Police took the rare move of releasing Beaudoin's photo on Thursday to alert the public.
Beaudoin was arrested at his home in Gatineau earlier this week. Police seized his laptop and other computers for their investigation.
