One of the best deals for gas in the country can be found just minutes from downtown Ottawa -- across the river in Gatineau.
Gas prices at six gas stations in Gatineau were hovering at about $1.18 for a litre of regular gasoline on Tuesday. That's about 11 cents cheaper than most Ottawa gas stations.
The price gap for fuel between the two cities is usually a difference of about four cents per litre.
Gatineau currently has the cheapest gas prices in Quebec. Montreal gas prices were as high as $1.38 per litre on Tuesday.
