The families of teen sweethearts Naomi Theoret and Garret Allen said their final goodbyes to 17-year-old Theoret Saturday.
The young couple was killed when their pickup truck struck a trailer just down the road from Theoret's home, south of Hawkesbury, on Monday.
Friends say Theoret was a passionate athlete, always smiling and madly in love with 18-year-old Allen.
Allen's funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Vankleek Hill. Instead of flowers, the Allen family is asking that donations be made for a new soccer field in town.
