Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a freight train slammed into a truck south of Ottawa Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on Boundary Road just west of the village of Mountain around 5 a.m.
OPP say the truck was empty at the time and are investigating whether or not it was stolen and abandoned on the tracks.
The freight line, which runs east to west near Kemptville, was closed for several hours while investigators assessed the scene.
