BELLEVILLE, Ont. -- Four men are facing charges in connection with an armed robbery at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ont.

Police say several men believed to have been carrying firearms entered a residence building at the college on Nov. 21 and robbed several occupants of personal property before fleeing on foot.

Police searched another residence building at the college on Thursday, while tactical officers went to five homes in the Napanee and Deseronto areas east of Belleville, and four men were arrested.

Braedon Couvreur of Belleville, Evan Sinclair of Napanee and Tyson Stevenson of Napanee, all 18, are charged with two counts of using a firearm during an indictable offence and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Sinclair and Stevenson are also charged with break and enter, wearing a disguise during the commission of an indictable offence, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Kurtis Lloyd, 22, of Deseronto was charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon.

Police say a large quantity of prohibited and restricted firearms, ammunition, marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were seized during the raids.

Four Napanee residents are also facing charges in connection with the discovery of the drugs.
