Six people were arrested after a brawl broke out at a Gatineau bar Saturday night.

The fight started just before 2 a.m. at the Saint-Ex Bar, located at 325 Greber Blvd., when two groups of people began exchanging heated words inside the building.

The groups then went outside where the fight got physical, said Lieut. Steve Dessureault of the Gatineau police.

Three people received facial lacerations during the fight, and were transported to hospital. Police seized a set of brass knuckles and a hunting knife at the scene.

Dessureault didn't know what sparked the altercation.

All six people involved in the fight were arrested and four were charged with disorderly conduct.
