Actress and former Ottawa resident Shannon Tweed has been kissed off by Ottawa's city council.
Shannon Tweed Day in the capital has been rescinded after several councillors complained out the idea during a closed door meeting Wednesday afternoon with Acting Mayor Doug Thompson.
Tweed, a former actress and Playboy model, plans to be in Ottawa next week with her rock star partner, Gene Simmons of Kiss, who plays Bluesfest on Wednesday.
