Ottawa's Wednesday night rain storm caused flooding throughout the region forcing road closures and waterlogged fields.
The downpour led to a washout on Ridgetop Road in West Carleton.
Ridgetop Road will be closed for a number of days between Thomas Dolan Parkway and Dunhaven Drive.
Thomas Dolan Parkway was also flooded and is closed from Woodkilton to Dunrobin Road.
Officially, Ottawa received 55.6 mm of rain.
That's not a record but most of the heavy downpour took place in a short period of time between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
