Ottawa Senators forward Mike Fisher appears in Carrie Underwood's latest video, Mama's Song, about her marriage to the Canadian hockey star.

The video shows Underwood in a wedding dress singing to her mother about the man she plans to spend the rest of her life with. Underwood's mother, Carole, also appears in the video.

"You just don't think when your child is small that in just a few years it's going to be completely different. And you look back and say, ‘Where did that time go?' It goes by fast," Underwood's mother says at the beginning of the video.

The lyrics begin with Underwood singing: "Mama, you taught me to do the right things, so now you have to let your baby fly."

In the chorus, Underwood describes Fisher's commitment to their relationship, saying: "He is good, so good. And he treats your little girl like a real man should."

Carole becomes emotional when she reads a note from her daughter and flips through a photo album filled with childhood photos and other milestones, including a photo from Underwood's wedding.

Underwood goes on to urge her mother not to worry, saying her man keeps his promises and will never leave.

Underwood is later shown leaning her head on Fisher's shoulder. The video ends with the superstar couple boarding a private plane.

Underwood and Fisher got married at a Georgia resort in July.
