A popular general store in a small Eastern Ontario community was destroyed by fire Sunday night.
The fire began at about 8:30 p.m. at the general store in Lunenberg, near Cornwall. By the time fire crews arrived, the building was totally engulfed.
The South Stormont fire department managed to contain the fire to the one structure.
There were no injuries.
