OTTAWA -- > District 7 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Monterey County, California, United States
District 7 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from sustainably and estate grown wine grapes from the Monterey County, Central Coast wine region. This is a great value, medium-plus-bodied Cali Cab under $20 with dark plum, black currant, mocha, leather and dried herb aromas on the nose. Smooth on the palate with dark berry, black fruit, chocolate and spicy, leathery hints on the finish. Tannins are soft and inviting. This vintage was aged 10 months in French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels (30% new).

Haut-Poitou, Loire A.P., France
Produced by Lacheteau Ohh! Poitou 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is dry, medium-bodied with aromas of white floral, tropical fruit, leafy and citrus flavours on the palate. This is a vibrant, lean, well-priced Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire. Chill and pour with fish and seafood dishes or herbed goat cheese on baguette.

Sensational Shellfish Wine
Nahe Qualitätswein, Germany
Tesch Karthäuser 2018 Riesling is a dry, floral and fine herb Nahe Qualitätswein. Love the mild petrol, fine herb, lime zest, white pepper and ripe yellow apple flavours on this mouth-watering Riesling. Give it a year in cellar and pour in 2022 with grilled pork chops or tenderloin en croute.
Voluptuous Veal Wine
