District 7 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from sustainably and estate grown wine grapes from the Monterey County, Central Coast wine region. This is a great value, medium-plus-bodied Cali Cab under $20 with dark plum, black currant, mocha, leather and dried herb aromas on the nose. Smooth on the palate with dark berry, black fruit, chocolate and spicy, leathery hints on the finish. Tannins are soft and inviting. This vintage was aged 10 months in French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels (30% new).
