One person is dead and two others were treated for smoke inhalation after fire tore through a Shillington Avenue home in west Ottawa late Saturday night.
The building was a single family home. When emergency personel arrived, two of the injured were found outside of the house.
Another person was found inside the home but was her body was not removed.
The fire was brought under control a few minutes ago. The identity of the victim has not been released while her family is notified.
