OTTAWA -- A 30-year-old North Dundas man is dead following a crash involving a transport truck and a car south of Ottawa.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on County Road 13, north of Winchester, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Friday.
The OPP says its preliminary investigation shows a westbound passenger vehicle entered into the eastbound lane and struck a tractor-trailer head-on.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the transport was not injured.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP says the road will be closed between Cayer and Ormond roads for "an extended period" for the investigation.
