One person is dead following a crash between a car and a transport truck on Highway 50 near Buckingham, Quebec.
Police say the crash happened early Tuesday morning in the eastbound lanes of the highway at Lepine Avenue.
The car involved in the collision burst into flames after the crash. The driver was not able to escape.
Police have not yet released the victim's name.
The eastbound lanes of Highway 50 were closed for several hours but have now reopened.
