A 21-year-old Rideau Lakes Township man was killed when his vehicle left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to Strickland Road in Rideau Lakes Township, southwest of Ottawa, near Perth, at about 6:10 a.m. Monday.
Police say it appears Daniel Joseph Degrace was driving westbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
Degrace was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Police say their investigation continues.
