Three people are dead and three others are injured after a collision on highway 401 near Iroquois, Ontario – about 100 kilometers south of Ottawa.

Police have identified the deceased as two month old Moriah Gloria Warren, 22 year-old Elissa Reid and 78 year-old Sheila McGlashen. All victims are from Chateauguay, Quebec.

Police say a brown 1986 Chevy van and a 2005 Volvo tractor trailer were involved in the crash that happened around 1am this morning.  Conditions were reported to be clear at the time.

The driver of the tractor trailer is 44 year-old Sergey Lucin of York, Ontario. He was treated at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell site for minor injures and released.

Three other people in the Chevy van were transported to the Winchester and Civic Hospital in Ottawa with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
