The family of a missing Lanark County man is praying for his safe return home.
"I want him home. I just want him home and get him help," said Patty Ladouceur, the wife of missing man Morris Ladouceur.
"It's like he's disappeared and I know my husband. He wouldn't disappear after 30 years of marriage."
Morris Ladouceur, 58, also known as "Moe," was last seen walking away from his home near Highway 15 in Montague Township May 10.
His family said he's struggling with schizophrenia and dementia.
"He's not well. He needs meds. He needs help," said Patty Ladouceur.
"He's a very kind and gentle soul who would help anybody. He's just lost his way right now," said Chris Ladounceur, Moe's Son.
The family said he visited a cemetery early Thursday morning and was last seen later that day on Highway 29 near Brockville.
On Monday, police searched his 85 acre property with no luck. They have since called off ground searches for the missing man.
There's been one tip about a hitchhiker who was reportedly picked up by a red car on Highway 401. The family is hoping that hitchhiker is Moe.
Ladouceur was last seen wearing a Hawaiian button up shirt and carrying a bag with a bible in it. He is described as a white man, about five-feet-eight inches tall. He weighs about 160 lbs. and has brown eyes and short greyish brown hair. He may have an unshaven appearance.
