The family of the victim in an unsolved murder case is pleading for anyone with information to come forward.

Jason Gall, 33, was stabbed to death on Feb. 3, 2007, six days before his son's ninth birthday. He was last seen near a Quickie Convenience Store close to the intersection of Bank and Gilmour streets.

Police recently offered a $50, 000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Gall's family is still reeling from his death.

"It takes a long time to absorb that," said Jason's dad John. "Where do you go with that? Answers would be good, closure would be great."

"You have to be patient though."

His family—including a common law wife and son—and friends are hoping the police reward will help shed new light on the case.

"Somebody had to say something to someone," said friend Jim Button. "If you do have any information that can help us out on this, just do the right thing."
