A young mother and her baby daughter who were found dead in their Carleton Place home earlier this month were remembered by family and friends at a funeral service in Carp.
Those who knew Kerry Freda Walters, 25, and her 11-month-old daughter Starla paid their final respects at St. Paul's United Church Thursday afternoon.
Ontario provincial police are still saying little about their deaths, except that they're being investigated as homicides.
Walters and her daughter were found dead in their Carleton Place home on May 17, after the pair was reported missing.
The woman's husband, Lennox Walters, was also found dead in Montreal. It's believed he committed suicide.
