The Ontario Provincial Police are checking into a death in the Thousand Islands township that happened on Friday, saying the circumstances surrounding it are susicipious.
Police responded to a 911 call at 10:20 a.m. Subsequently, an adult male was taken to Brockville General Hospital and died shortly afterwards.
The Leeds County Crime Unit and OPP are both investigating the death, saying that is suspicious, but did not release what details made them suspect wrongdoing.
Postmortem time and the identity of the victim have not been released yet.
