It’s an iconic property in the Thousand Islands area and at an auction on August 22, it will be sold to the highest bidder.

Known as the Eagle Point Estate, the nearly 14,000 square foot mansion boasts six bedrooms in the main house, three kitchens, and an in-law suite. It also has a guest house and large garage bays.

Terry Dixon, who owns the property, said the home was designed to ensure every room had a view of the St. Lawrence River.

The home, at 697 Thousand Islands Parkway, will be auctioned on August 22 with a reserve price of $7.9 million.

Aaron Carmody, the project manager, expects to see three to five bidders and says the property has received international inquiries.
