Ottawa fire officials say all 12 units at a multi-unit residential complex in Ottawa’s south end have been damaged in some way after fire tore through it Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014.

Fire crews were called to 275 Meadowlilly Road in the Findlay Creek area around 5:00 p.m.

Fire officials say at least 24 people will be displaced as a result of this fire. 22 trucks and at least 70 firefighters were on scene battling the blaze.

Ottawa paramedics say two people, including a firefighter were taken to hospital with chest pains.

Two other firefighters were treated on scene for minor injuries.

The Salvation Army and Red Cross were dispatched to the scene to assist residents of the building.

Damage is estimated at $4.2 million.
