The Town of Petawawa is urging homeowners to run one cold water tap and let water trickle at all times to avoid frozen pipes.
Petawawa's Director of Public Works David Unrau says the town has received about a dozen complaints of no water service in the last week. Even the Town of Petawawa office is currently without water.
Homeowners are urged to allow a trickle of cold water as thick as a drinking straw around the clock. Unrau calls the advisory is precautionary.
The advisory is in place for the next six weeks.
