KINGSTON - David Frost, the former hockey coach and NHL agent, has been found not guilty on all charges stemming from his use of a credit card belonging to jailed NHL client Mike Danton.

Frost, 41, was tried last December in a Kingston court on charges connected with an incident almost two years ago in that city.

At the time, Frost had been facing sexual exploitation charges in nearby Napanee, Ont. -- that trial ending with acquittals in late November 2008.

Frost pleaded not guilty to all of the fraud charges, which were laid after he used Danton's Visa at a service station for gasoline, lottery tickets and chocolate bars in March 2007.

In his decision laid down Friday, the judge said while the events weren't in dispute, Frost didn't mislead the station cashier about his own identity when using Danton's card.

Danton, a former hockey player, is serving a U.S. prison sentence for a murder-for-hire conspiracy that allegedly targeted Frost.

During the trial, a letter was presented showing Danton had given Frost and his wife power of attorney over his finances at the time of the incident.
